The approaching winter is taking it’s toll.

I’m leaving for work in the dark and returning in the dimming light at the end of the day. I’m not sure if I suffer from Seasonally Adjusted Disorder (SAD), but I do feel happier when the sun is out, and not seeing the sun for a while, does seem to get me down. Not too bad at the mo, but when January comes, it’ll like a cloud over me!! Thankfully, I’ve got a lot of friends and family I can talk to, and I’m aware that others aren’t always so fortunate. I hope they know that I’m always available for them in the same way.

Good news though, I managed to get my phone working again after it’s little drink of Coke!! The buttons are still a bit “clicky”, but hey at least I don’t have to buy a new phone, so I’m happy enough. I must get a back up phone though. I never realised just how dependant we all are on the simple things like having a mobile phone on you all the time, and being able to text someone as and when you want to, and be able to get a reply back.

At least Christmas is coming, and I’ve already started the Xmas present shopping, which will always cheer me up. I could have sworn I heard Cassie (my boss at work) singing Christmas Carols already!! She’s a real fan of Xmas, and it’s nice to see anybody enjoying themselves like that. Bring out the Christmas Trees and the Tinsel, that’s what I say!!
