D’ream had a point!

Life is full of surprises and serendipity. Being open to unexpected turns in the road is an important part of success. If you try to plan every step, you may miss those wonderful twists and turns. Just find your next adventure-do it well, enjoy it-and then, not now, think about what comes next. – Condoleezza Rice

Last night was a good night. Not what I expected, not one I thought would happen, not one I could have dreamt of. In life, sometimes, something happens that hits the emotional reset button, where an event and/or person can transcend the present and make you restart your state of mind and thoughts. I’ve only had a few such moments before, the most important one being the day one of the most wonderful men on the planet was born, the day my wonderful son Christopher arrived. That’s followed by the day my other totally wonderful son Jack was born, and after that the day I was privileged to have the awesome young man that is Jake come into my life. I am and will always be blessed to have three such wonderful, young, awesome and fantastic young men in my life and I will always be grateful for them being there. That said, this experience was different. Very different.

Now I’m not going into detail here as to what happened. I may speak of it later, but not now. Suffice to say, I was gifted something which I did not deserve by someone whom is far more precious than they know. Not sure why I have been so lucky in this regard. Maybe Karma is paying me back. Frankly, why is not important, the fact it happened is. I am so very grateful and it’s nice to have some positivity again. Watch this space!
